Direct repatriation
Direct recirculation is a closed-loop system for biogas plants: following separation, the pressed phase - which still contains unfermented fibre - is immediately returned to the fermenter, rather than being discharged into the environment. This results in a 5 - 10% increase in gas yield, zero emissions, compliance with the Technical Instructions on Air Quality (TA-Luft) and significant cost savings due to reduced storage volume and fewer agitators. There are two tried-and-tested technologies to choose from: Sepogant Direkt and Returgant Direkt.
