The principle of heat recovery: hot digestate heats cold slurry or other liquid biogas substrates before they enter the fermenter. The result: waste heat from the CHP unit is utilised to the full and the energy required for substrate heating is drastically reduced – even large volumes of slurry for biogas plants no longer pose a challenge.

Optimal biogas efficiency through substrate preparation

For maximum energy efficiency and trouble-free heat transfer in the Heatogant system, we recommend a particle size of <0.5 mm in the heat exchanger.
