Feeding technology for biogas plants - the Easyfeeder

TheEasyfeederis Biogastechnik Süd’s modular feeding system, developed for the efficient and substrate-specific operation ofbiogas plants. The system can be flexibly combined with various feed hoppers: funnels, push-out hoppers, moving-floor containers or roller-conveyor containers. Whether solid or liquid substrate – the Easyfeeder adapts to plant capacity, substrate type and feed volume. Choose between the Easyfeeder Standard, Top and Mix – and find the right variant for your biogas plant. This is achieved through a sophisticated control system and a particularly robust design of all load-bearing parts. For example, the screw conveyor and drives in our feed system are built to be particularly solid and robust. All parts at risk of corrosion are made from V2A stainless steel. All drives are fitted with adjustable load monitoring. The interval control system, featuring automatic reverse operation in the event of overload, ensures smooth and trouble-free operation.
All components of our feeding technology for biogas plants have been designed in accordance with the provisions of Directive 2006/42/EC on machinery and are approved, subject to certain restrictions, for operation within Ex zones.

Easyfeeder Solo

The Easyfeeder Solo is the indestructible entry-level model in our extensive range of feeding systems for biogas plants - the Easyfeeder family. With a capacity of 10 to 13 m³, it is ideal as an entry-level model for continuous, intermittent feeding throughout the day. The feed material is metered by two dissolving augers and conveyed into the digester by the main feed auger.

Easyfeeder

The Easyfeeder with hopper is similar in design to the Easyfeeder Solo. However, the Easyfeeder with hopper has a storage capacity of up to 76 m³, which is considerably greater than that of the Easyfeeder Solo. The material to be conveyed is pushed into the hopper by a hydraulic cylinder. It is then fed into the digester via the breaking-up and main conveying augers of the feed system.

Easyfeeder FA

With our Easyfeeder FA feeding system featuring a hopper, the material is fed from the hopper through the milling unit - which comprises three directly driven milling rollers - where it is precisely metered and loosened before entering the main feed screw. This then conveys it into the fermenter. This provides ideal conditions, particularly for raw materials that are especially fibrous and difficult to dose, such as manure.

Easyfeeder Top AS

The Easyfeeder Top AS with hopper is the solid feed system of choice when the substrate needs to be fed into high-level digesters in small-scale plants. The material is first loosened by the dissolving augers before being conveyed upwards via the lift auger to the packing auger. The storage capacity is 7 m³ (expandable to 20 m³).

Easyfeeder Top FA

The Easyfeeder Top FA with hopper is the first choice for particularly fibrous and difficult-to-dose feedstuffs in high-fermenters. The substrate is precisely metered and loosened by three directly driven milling rollers before being transferred to the cross-screw, from where it is conveyed via the riser screw to the feed screw.

Easyfeeder FA Liquid Feeding

The Easyfeeder FA with pump consists of a stationary discharge trough fitted with a milling attachment. The milling attachment of the feeding system breaks up the substrate - which the plant operator uses to fill the discharge trough - and conveys it into the twin-screw housing. In the mixing tank, water is added to the broken-up substrate so that it can be conveyed through a hose into the fermenter.
